Plain-language terms for using the AI Index website (gencite.net) and AI Index for WordPress, both provided by Developable Ltd.

AI Index for WordPress

AI Index is free and open-source software, distributed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later. You are free to use, study, modify and redistribute it under those terms. The full license ships with the plugin.

No warranty

AI Index and this website are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Generative Engine Optimization can improve how AI engines discover and read your content, but no plugin or app can guarantee that any particular engine will crawl, index, or cite your site. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Developable Ltd is not liable for any damages arising from use of the software or site.

Third-party services

If you enable the IndexNow feature, your use of it is also subject to the terms of the IndexNow service and the participating search engines. AI Index simply submits URLs on your behalf when you choose to enable it.

Pro and payments

AI Index Pro, when available, will be an optional paid upgrade. Pricing, billing and refund terms will be presented at checkout. The free version remains fully functional on its own.

Acceptable use

Please use the plugin and this site lawfully. Do not use AI Index to misrepresent content to engines, cloak, or otherwise deceive crawlers. The tool is built for clean, honest indexing.
